Our group origanally started out as a 'Mom's Group'. After a couple years, and new leadership, it was decided that the group name be changed. You see, we moms do alot. However, there are times when the dads (or grandparents) step in to help when we're not able to make it to a meet-up. It seemed only right that they be included in the group as well! So 'Parents & Kids of Charlotte County' we became!
The purpose of the group is to give parents a chance to meet other parents, while getting their kiddos out and about to socialize with others. We schedule events & activities throughout the month, and try to plan them at different times to better suit the diversity of the group. Some events you'll find on the calander include: visiting a zoo or museum, Kidstar Park, lunch/dinner meet-ups & picnics, playgrounds, beach days, community & business events such as Lowe's Build & Grow Kid's Clinics, Home Depot Kid's Workshops, Story Time, County Fairs, Rodeos, Pottery Studio, and much, much more!
Our main group page is currently on Facebook (a link to the group can be found on the Home page here). However, if you do not have a Facebook account, but are still interested in being apart of this great group, simply send us an e-mail with your name, kiddos names & ages, and your contact e-mail address, and we can send you our weekly updates with all the event info. This is to better protect the safety of our families and children. You will see events posted here on this site occassionally, but not all events will be added.
